How to evaluate the Toric AJC
Toric’s AJC is a generic circuit type which can be deployed on a wide range of possible platforms.
Toric offers a range of options for designers wishing to evaluate AJC technology on a stand-alone basis, or integrating AJC technology into a new IC design.
PhaseFilter Development Pack
Toric’s Development Pack is aimed at designers of analogue and mixed signal IC designers. It provides them with tools and an ever-expanding knowledge base to enable rapid design entry and verification of AJC technology in their chosen process and technology platform.
Toric’s straightforward design and simulation methodology facilitates the selection of an AJC design for each application. Following an initial briefing (in confidence), Toric provides an initial design as a starting point for the team’s subsequent work. This guides designers through the stages of specifying an AJC according to operating frequency range, power, area and bandwidth constraints.
The complete design package includes:
Implementation Service
Toric’s PhaseFilter implementation service provides system designers with a low risk entry point. Working with our design partners, customers are able to specify and build full-custom designs, which then can be ported into the target IC by their own in-house layout teams.
Production Licences are required for the production and sale of ICs incorporating Toric’s technology. These licenses under Toric’s patents are non-exclusive and granted on standard qualitative terms. The levels of up-front and running royalties are set case-by-case. Contact us for an indication of licensing terms.
Toric encourages academic research into techniques for jitter suppression and clock filtering. On request, we will provide the format for submitting an application for an Academic Research Licence which we issue free-of-charge but subject to basic conditions.
