Toric’s technologies are based on a radical means for suppressing phase noise and time jitter in electronic circuits. This, unusually, uses a feedforward technique based on linear circuit technology. The principal technique, and variants of it, are protected by one or more of Toric's patents.

 

The first two products which have been enabled by the patented technology are:

 

PhaseFilter™: IC implementation of anti-jitter cell technology

 

Multi-Clock Generator™: provides high resolution clocking systems on SoCs, enabling an aggressive approach to power management

.

Other products, including noise-tolerant circuits for small geometry ICs, are in development.

 

Toric's products are characterised by smaller footprint, lower power consumption, and greater scope for re-use than conventional PLL-type circuits.
